Mumbai Indians captain Sachin Tendulkar admitted that his one over has changed their game with the Delhi Daredevils. At one point in the game Mumbai Indians were pretty much back in the game with some good bowling performances by slow bowlers Harbhajan Singh and JP Duminy. Both these bowlers make Dilshan and De Villers strive fo every single run and at this stage it was pretty much hopeful that Mumbai will win, but with one over bowled by Sachin everything changed.

Sachin Tendulkar brought himself into the attack in the 15th over. This one over costs them 19 runs with De Villers hitting three fours and a six all at the mid-wicket area, to turn the match in Delhi’s favour.

“We bowled well and fielded well but that one over changed everything,” said Tendulkar at the post-match ceremony after Delhi daredevils registerd their seven wickets win over the Mumbai Indians.

“With the slow bowlers doing well I thought that if I come in… I didn’t want to give them the pace,” Tendulkar said.

Mumbai Indians have lost five of their nine matches played till now and its seems quite a dream for them to make it ot the semi-finals. They need to get everyhtings working in their favour and have to win all their future matches if they really want to make to the semi-finals.

“We have been pushed to the corner. But all is not lost yet, we have to keep trying,” said Sachin Tendulkar.

Gautam Gambhir the stand-in captain of the Delhi Daredevils in the absence of injured Virender Sehwag, praises AB De Villers innings. “It was important to carry on the momentum and we are happy that we did that,” Gambhir said. “De Villiers did a good job. Our target was to have wickets in hand and we managed to do that,” he added.
